"I pray that Nike hasn't quit making these wonderful shoes. I have owned 4 pairs (including the pair I have tucked away in my closet) and I love how comfortable theses are. The Nike Free+ 2 seem to have more support which I don't need. PLEASE keeping making these shoes. I am a walker and yesterday I walked 22 miles non-stop. No blisters, no sore legs. Just a lot of love for my Nike Free+ shoes!"

"This shoe is handsdown the best lightweight running shoe ever produced by Nike. I've had spinal surgery and every shoe I've tried has not helped my spine or lowerback but after purchasing these and using them for the first time, they've helped manage my lowerback pain, stablized my spine and posture, and strengthened my legs and feet. I now own 6 pairs and now I'm on the hunt for all the colors produced. Thank You Nike (especially to the designer) you have helped change my life!
Five stars can't compare to the actual ratings I would put on this shoe."

"I bought this shoes a few days ago and it has to be the most confortable shoe I have ever purchased. It's light weight and very very flexable. The fact that it fits like a sock, gives it a perfect fit around your foot. I think that everyone should buy this shoe!"

"Being a shoe collector I have had my share of nice shoes. I needed a pair of running shoes with nike + capability and as soon as i saw a free shoe with + i picked them up. They are simply amazing! they look good and they feel good. They actually make me want to run even more. I'm very happy with them and have gotten many compliments and even convinced a few of my friends to buy them. absolute perfection!"

"I bought my Nike Free Run+ 2 days ago and I am absolutely speechless. This shoe has the lightweight and agility that is preferable for speedwork and tempo runs, but also has enough cushioning and support for those 10-15 mile long runs. At first I was indecisive on whether I should get these or the Nike Free 3.0v2, but after taking all aspects into consideration, I am glad I bought these. They don't weigh that much more than the 3.0v2, which makes it ideal for speed, and there's a little bit more support, which makes it ideal for any distance. Adding to that, I also noticed that it is much easier to land naturally on my mid/forefoot in these shoes because of the fact that they are so flexible. The only downfall of this shoe that I can find is that if you run on trails with many small rocks, some may get caught in the grooves on the bottom. It also runs about a half a size small (For men at least). But other than those insignificant aspects, these shoes are everything you will ever need."

"I'm not a runner and really just bought these for the easy and comfortable, barefoot experience. As I'd hoped, they are very comfortabe, and easy to slip on and go. They're light with good cushioning and no stiff upper areas to rub your feet. I'm mostly thinking of this as a summer shoe, but I'll probably wear it some in the winter, too.
I love how it fits, although it may be slightly small (particularly in length.) I normally wear a 10.5-11 ,and ordered an 11, after reading reviews saying that it fit small. The 11 is the perfect size for me and I worry that a 10.5 would have been too small, although I never tried one on in that size.
There are a couple of things I'm disappointed with about the shoe, however. The first is the color. I got the "Stealth/Dark Grey-Voltage Yellow" shoes. I should have paid attention to the name, because the "Voltage Yellow" color is more neon then the picture on the website. I was hoping to wear these with jeans, but this yellow is too bright to be fashionable with anything other than workout clothing.
The other thing is the "barefoot" fit. Other barefoot shoes I've tried didn't lean me forward, as running shoes usually do. They cushioned my heel and sole, while keeping my foot flat and allowing it to arch naturally. These are more like traditional running shoes, in that they lift your heel off the ground, until you're leaning forward. That may be desireable for running (I don't know?), but it's not like being barefoot, unlike some other shoes"

"From the moment i tried them on at the sneaker store i fell in love with this shoe. It was soo comfortable i wanted to just run out of the store with them. There soo flexible and breathable that i wear them when i workout, go out, and hang out. I wear these sneakers everywhere, and without a doubt i will always own a fresh bare of NIke Frees. When i die ill prolly own a couple dozen pairs."

"I run 12-20 miles/week in the summer. This is my first experience with a barefoot-style shoe ... been on it for 2 weeks. It's very light. I'm used to heavier stablilty shoes. It has none of the stability shoe support that wraps your foot tightly. I find that a welcome change. Very comfortable. So far, I've experienced none of the traditional shoe break-in pains. I have very wide footpad -- no matter the shoe my pinky toe usually rips through the side after 500 miles or so. I find the width typical, maybe slightly larger than average. I bought 1/2 size larger than my shoe size and it fits perfectly."

"Ok, i just bought these shoes today, and when i put them on, the feel so natural. When i first put them on in the store, I felt like i wasn't wearing anything at all. If you are a runner and have any sense at all, BUY THESE SHOES! It is so much easier to run on the balls of my feet because of the enhanced flexibility. I may be 12, but i can tell the difference between a good shoe and a bad one, and this is definitely an amazing shoe.
I run track for my school, and these shoes have decreased my time for the mile from 5:53 to 5:47 one week later. The are also great for sprinting because how light they are and their flexibility allows you to run on the balls of your feet with less effort.

"I love this shoe. By far the best shoe i have ever worn that has a good sized toe box and just feels great. I run ultra marathons and the furthest i have ran so far is 105 miles in a day. I run anywhere from 6-20 miles a day and i can say these are the best shoes i have found that allow me to run pain free. Running on mainly pavement in the mountains western NC in the winter is no joke and these shoes have survived everything ive put them through. The duribilty and toughness is amazing + the light wieght is a wonderful feeling when you want to do speed runs."

"I have had these for 6 months, and they are so light that switching to another shoe would probably be dificult. The grip is great at first, but starts to lose it after about a month of 10-20 minutes of various training, running and stuff. lightness is great. only thing i can think of comparing them to is the new ones, or vibram five fingers. cant decide. but if you like to kill your shoes, pick these cuz thats hard to do!"

"These shoes are extremely comfortable, they fit true to size and they look great, but they dont last long. I bought mine 2 months ago and i dont run much but the mesh by the toes ripped up and the foam sole is gone by the tip of the toes. I was very disappointed in the quality"

"after a run around the block in some 80 degree heat after months of winter, i took off the shoes to let my feet cool off. I noticed the insole was yellow in parts, in the exact shape of a foot. I'm not sure if that was there before i actually wore them, but if it wasnt then thats a pretty effective training tool. it is brighter where you put most of your weight when you run, which can help with form."

"I bought these shoes a little less than a month ago and now i absolutely love them. i thought that they were comfortable when i fried them on but once they break in, they get even better. When you firdt try them on you will feel a little bit of support on the ball of the foot but don't worry if yo uare lokking for a minimalist type shoe because this goes away after about 10 miles. I do all of my training in them form long runs (10+ miles ) to speedwork (400 m, 200 m, 350 m, 200m hills...)."
